Creed – Tabarome: Overview, Smell, Notes & More!

Tabarome is a citrusy, sweet fragrance that closes with a tobacco aroma that gives this perfume its classic scent.

Reminiscent of quality cigars, this blend mixes warm ginger and seductive leather.

A re-make of the 1875 fragrance worn by Winston Churchill, Tabarome only uses tobacco leaves from the finest plants of the year.

What Does Creed Tabarome Smell Like?

Tabarome by Creed is an aromatic fougère scent.

The main accords are citrus, warm, spicy, and woody.

Tabarome opens with a very citrusy top note of bergamot and tangerine, which then sinks into the woody and sweet smell of ginger.

The base notes are woody and spicy, mixing the finest tobacco aroma with seductive sandalwood and musk.

Creed’s 2000 edition has a warmer scent than the vintage Tabarome.

The newer version includes ginger, leather, and patchouli to add some sweetness that the original lacked.

How Long Does Creed Tabarome Last For?

This fragrance has moderate longevity and a medium sillage.

The top notes will last for about five to fifteen minutes, while the middle and base notes will linger for around two hours each.

Since this scent utilizes tobacco and leather, which have larger molecules that take more time to dissipate, Tabarome will probably last a bit longer than the average perfume.

If you want your scent to last longer, you can opt to spritz it on your hair and clothing.

When Should You Wear It?

Tabarome’s tobacco note makes it great for fall and winter and the early months of spring.

The warmth and comfort that tobacco scents exude are ideal for the cold weather when you’re looking for a fragrance that emits the same feel as a warm blanket.

Where Should You Wear It?

Creed originally created Tabarome for a British statesman who enjoyed brandy and high-quality cigars.

This classic favorite reflects the elegance of this aristocratic figure.

Tabarome is reminiscent of the sophistication of English-club luxury, which makes it perfect for the finest of occasions.

Tabarome honors the pinch of finest tobacco that made its predecessor so popular amongst successful, powerful men.

Wear this quality scent to any event where you want to make a big statement.

Perfume connoisseurs will recognize the fragrance as one of the most luxurious aromas of all time, making the wearer stand out from the crowd.

Also, sandalwood scents are ideal for work or high-pressure events because they increase mental awareness and decrease anxiety.

Just make sure that you don’t spray on too much.

Cologne can give you a great boost of confidence and lighten the mood in a room, but an excessive amount may come across as unprofessional.

Presentation and Value For Money

The bottle is square, and the top sides angle towards the black or silver crown.

The brand’s logo is near the top of the bottle and is printed into the glass.

A brown sticker reads “Tabarome Millésime” on the front of the product.

Millésime marks the quality of the fragrance and means that the manufacturer only makes the scent from the best crops of the year.

Near the bottom, it says, “From Father to Son Since 1760.”

The liquid, meanwhile, is light green to add some color to the creation.

A 3.3-ounce container sells for between $235 and $255.

The price is high compared to other perfumes but reasonable when likened to fragrances of the same brand.

On average, a similar-sized container of Creed cologne costs between $300 and $500, while some are more than $1000.

The Bottom Line

Tabarome is an expensive scent but it’s not as pricey as other Creed fragrances.

Combined with citrus and woody aromas, Tabarome mixes sweet ginger with a spicy tobacco note.
